Ambulatory Service

AVP has three fully equipped motor vehicles and a mobile crush available to visit your property or stables. We are available for colics, eye injuries, wounds, lacerations and lameness. We also offer routine service such as prepurchase evaluations, dentistry, mare scans and freeze branding. Routine surgical procedures such as castration can also be performed at your property. Bookings can be made for diagnostic evaluations in the field using our portable equipment including digital xray, endoscope and ultrasound.

We also consult daily from our clinic and whenever possible, encourage clients to truck/float their horses to us. There are significant cost savings associated with treating your horse at our purpose built facility. We also have access to our complete range of diagnostic equipment on site and we can draw on our nursing staff for further treatment and assistance.

Emergency and Referral Service

AVP offers a 24 hour emergency service for equine patients. Our dedicated team of veterinarians and nurses offer a full surgical and medical service round the clock. We also have a veterinarian on duty for property and stable visits. If you require emergency veterinary treatment please contact the clinic on 07 3202 7300. If it is outside normal working hours you will be directed to the veterinarian on duty.

AVP accepts referrals from other veterinary practices for medical and surgical cases.
