Anstead Veterinary Practice
Anstead Veterinary Practice is a purpose built facility based in the Western suburbs of Brisbane. The clinic was established in 1999 as a single person practice and has since grown to support 5 fulltime veterinarians and 10 support staff. Our team is committed to compassion and quality, both in the care of family pets and horses, and in our relationships with our clients and the community.
Small Animal Clinic
The small animal clinic provides a full medical and surgical facility with access to state of the art diagnostic equipment and visiting specialists to complement our experienced practitioners.
At Anstead Veterinary Practice we offer a complete service starting with Puppy Preschool through to care for your geriatric pet and our veterinarians pride themselves on providing quality veterinary care.
Equine Clinic
The equine hospital at Anstead Veterinary Practice consists of a purpose built equine operating theatre, a padded recovery room and large stable block. We also have safe and secure post and rail yards with shelters for the less intensive patient and for broodmares. A large undercover diagnostic area complements the hospital.
We also provide a full equine ambulatory service and accept referrals from other veterinary practices.
The team at Anstead Veterinary Practice keeps abreast of all recent developments in the equine veterinary world and we are proud to have the latest diagnostic equipment available for use in our patients.

Community Projects
We are delighted to be involved in community projects such as the Australian Veterinary Association Pet Pep Program, Puppy Preschool, Post Graduate Seminars, School Talks, Open Days, and various club talks. The Queensland Mounted Police and the Queensland Police Dog Squad choose to use our Veterinary services.
